Accurate Valiant Slow Pitch BV-500N SPJ Single Speed Reels

The 500N SPJ is a perfect all around slow pitch jigging size, what you get with this reel is quick retrieve, good drag and lots of line capacity in a very light weight package. If you're jigging in the 200-900ft range this is a great size to go with, with a full spool you get 45 inches per crank so even when you're at depth you'll have enough speed to work a jig. For a heavier slow pitch style PE3.0 or 30lb line is great, you'll still get 600 yards of capacity without sacrificing on strength. If you're planning on going deeper you can also drop down to PE2.0 for a total of nearly 900 meters. 

As with the rest of the Valiant reels these have the twin drag design which is especially useful for smoothness at low drag settings, but it also increases the top range you can fish. For larger jigs these can be optioned with a longer 110mm or 120mm handle which will reduce the strain you'll feel when jigging.
