The Avet MXL is a great wider size for live bait and bottom fishing, the extra spool size gives you a lot more line capacity so it is especially great if you're running straight mono or a long topshot. The Classic series is limited to about 30lb line given the drag but that covers a lot of the fishing we do here in SoCal and can be versatile for a lot of other areas. The MXL casts great especially with the MC magnetic cast control that this model comes with, larger lures should be easy to cast with no backlash. Since these models are discontinued they are now discounted and offer a great value.
